A destination wedding can be the perfect gift to yourself, but your guests will still want to give you something to celebrate the start of your married life. • Delayed by months: While this separates the honeymoon and the wedding, it can be a more convenient choice for many couples. If your work schedules aren’t going to allow you to jet off right after your wedding, you can plan a honeymoon for a later date. This can also be a great option if your honeymoon destination isn’t in a great season around your wedding.
• All in one: Another choice is to do the wedding and honeymoon all in one with a destination wedding. This allows you to celebrate your wedding in your honeymoon location. Your guests join you for the wedding, and you stay a bit longer to enjoy some time as newlyweds.
